“About the Author”

My friends tease me because when I was in elementary school, my favorite part of writing books was writing the “About the Author” page.  Mostly because I like to talk about myself.  Doesn’t anyone who keeps a blog?  The typical “about me” page from my elementary school books went something like this “My name is Cassie.  I have blonde hair and blue eyes.  I like dogs and swimming.  This book is dedicated to my mom.”

Today I’d probably write “My name is Cassie.  I have grey hair, but I choose to dye it red.  I have blue eyes. I like dogs (more than people) and I tolerate swimming more than running and biking because I’m better at it.  This blog is dedicated to my mom. And Matty J.”

My first 5K with Matty J

My “children” Ernie and Abbey. They’re adopted.

I have a pretty sweet job (Massage Therapist/Spa Owner) so I’ll talk about massage and muscles every so often. 🙂
