Excellent Speaker for Sports Teams!

Today my training partner and friend Braxton (a Chiropractor and owner of Pulley Chiropractic for over 8 years) visited with my employees (primarily massage therapists) to discuss with us some helpful stretches for self care and to discuss progression of injury from muscle issue to ligament issue to bone issue.  It was WONDERFUL!  If we didn’t have a reception area filling up with clients, we’d have made him stay all afternoon and continue to show us cool things.

This got me to thinking…I’m lucky to work all day with 5 other massage therapists and do my triathlon training with a chiropractor who is a whiz with anatomy and physiology so when I’m under strain from training (or a combination of training and working) I have lots of great resources at my disposal.  I know Braxton talks to other workplaces and he’d be happy to talk to sports teams and training groups too about the most common injuries he sees from various sports and the best ways to either 1) prevent them, or 2) reverse the damage (as much as is possible).

If you’d like to have him chat with your group, you can call his office at (515) 288-8058 or send your info to me in a comment or via twitter message at http://www.twitter.com/TriWithUs and I”ll get you in touch!

Our 2011 HyVee Triathlon “Pulley Chiropractic/East Village Spa” team. Braxton Pulley (did it all!), Abra Pulley (Run), ME! (Swim), and Quentin Huston (Bike). Braxton and Quentin are both chiropractors and since they are athletes themselves, are great resources for other athletes.
